Annual Awards

The RTCC is pleased to acknowledge our member's accomplishments with the following Annual Awards.

Award Requirements:

• The Awards Year runs January 1st to December 31st

• The deadline for application is March 31st.

• Awards are only given to current members of the RTCC, if a dog is co-owned by a non-member, ONLY the current member will receive the award.

• For Conformation – all points must be earned in CKC Conformation during the Awards Year.

• For Performance & Agility - titles must be finished within the Awards Year.  You may have earned a qualifying leg(s) in a previous year(s). Performance titles may be earned in non-CKC events.

•  All performance titles must be earned in “mandatory” levels. Titles in levels which are not considered mandatory to move up to the next level are not eligible for consideration, eg. Pre-Novice Obedience, Rally Intermediate etc.

• Copies of official documents showing the dogs registered name may be requested as verification for all NON-CKC awards

 

Junior Handling Awards:

• As per above and including:

  • Conformation:  CKC Junior Handling awards will be as per CKC records. The Junior handler and their parent must certify that all points were earned using a Rat Terrier.

  • Performance: Junior handlers and their parents must certify that the Junior handled the dog in all legs of the title earned.
